WKWSCI FOC ’10 is kick-starting our main committee recruitment for the follow positions:

1. Honorary General Secretary
2. Financial Controller
3. Chief Programmer
4. Head Programmers (4 positions)
5. Business Managers (2 positions)
6. Publicity Officers (2 positions)
7. Logistics (2 positions)
8. Welfare

Honorary General Secretary

• A position for the organised, the neat, the efficient.
• Dealing mainly with administrative matters (ie. minutes, crafting of essential documents etc)
• Liaising and coordinating within and without main committee members

Financial Controller

• A position for those with an inclination towards handling money, keeping accounts and providing financial advice.
• Handles the purse strings of FOC funds
• Keeps track of money coming in and out
• Ensures the overall budget is planned and balanced

Chief Programmer

• A position for the fun-loving and an inclination towards being an “on the ground” side of FOC.
• To coordinate and helm other programmers, ensuring the smooth running of programs throughout the camp
• Liaising with external vendors for games if necessary
• Bringing what is planned on paper to life.

Head Programmers (4 positions)

• A position for the fun-loving (also) who’d like to have a hand in making games fun-er and programmes cool-er.
• Each head programmer would be assigned to be in-charge of a day’s worth of programmes during FOC.
• To helm their respective sub-committees in crafting and testing the programme schedule.

Business Managers (2 positions)

• A position for the people with contacts, infinite resourcefulness (or lobangs) and the “never-say-die-will-get-all-the-money-i-need” attitude.
• Chief concern is to raise the budget for FOC
• Securing jobs for canvassing purposes
• Coordinating a constant flow of manpower for canvassing

Publicity Managers (2 positions)

• A position for those with an acute creative and dynamic vision.
• Crafts the publicity campaign of the FOC through various media sources.
• Freshmen orientation package and T-shirt design.
• Documentation of the camp (via video, photos)
• Strong grounding in design and visual communications (layout, photography, filming etc) are great assets to have so bring down your portfolio for interviews!

Logistics (2 positions)

• A position for those who are flexible, quick-thinkers and prefer to be at the back scene of events.
• Provides the quintessential logistical support needed for camp games and events to happen.
• Driving experience a great asset to this appointment.

Welfare

• A position for the loving, caring and concerned.
• Concerns him/herself with the general welfare (medical care, safety) and provision of foods and drinks to both freshmen and seniors.
• Responsible for accommodation arrangements.
